An overview of the Buddy Bag Foundation (Work not completed by us)

The Mission

Over 48,000 children require emergency care every year in the UK.

These children have nothing to call their own, besides the clothes they are wearing. This experience can be scary, and sometimes traumatising for young children that don't understand what is going on.

The Client

The Buddy Bag Foundation was founded by Karen Williams in 2015, in an effort to tackle this crisis by reminding children that they are indeed loved, despite the scary circumstances they find themselves in.

The Foundation is run by a team of volunteers and ambassadors so that 100% of the money raised goes to the cause.

The  provide children going into emergency care with a bag of love (Buddy Bag) that they call their own, no matter where they go. This include toiletries, pyjamas, socks and underwear, in addition to comfort items such as a book and a teddy bear.

The Challenge

Covid had interfered with fundraising across the nation so many charities were struggling.

Buddy Bag was no stranger to this, so they focused heavily on building corporate relationships so the businesses still operating (even remotely) could continue their CSR activities but remotely.

Karen at the BBF thus came up with the Challenge Box.

Organisations could fund raise to acquire the contents, or source them in creatives ways, to fill a number of boxes and then pack them with their teams.

We were asked, to create a short video to articulate this to be shared directly with potential corporate partnera.

What did the Buddy Bag Foundation think?

"A massive thank you to Motion Manor for supporting Buddy Bag Foundation Charity as part of their CSR.

We approached Motion Manor to support us with a campaign to launch our BBF Challenge Box to make a difference to children in emergency care. They have produced a professional animation which exceeded our expectations.

The journey from start to finish was simple and seamless. The end product embraced our brand and included all the key elements we wanted to include.

Thank you so much."
